Packers +8 @ SEAHAWKS   CORRECT!

The Packers are traveling to Seattle to rematch the team that beat them handily in week one. This game should be very different from that early meeting. The Packers have progressed a lot since then and had a few injuries and bad game plans that week. Most importantly they got to learn from that game. This game will be much harder than last weeks game against the Panthers for the Seahawks. I think the Seahawks are likely to win but this spread is just too high. Eight points is just too much. The Packers will be in this game and will make it close. Take the points and sit back and enjoy what should be an exhilarating game. 

Wagering: $500

PATRIOTS -6.5 vs Colts  CORRECT!

Andrew Luck has already made it to his first AFC championship game. Very impressive in his young career. Within the next five years I believe he will lead the Colts to a Super Bowl win. But I don't think it will happen this year. The Patriots are a very tough matchup for the Colts. The Colts defense will be exposed this week and most of all their weak running game will really hurt them. This should be a good game but the Patriots will cover the spread and head to the Super Bowl once again. 

Wagering: $900

Bonus bet CORRECT!: Take the under 54 pts for the Patriots-Colts game. This total is a little too high and I foresee a lower scoring game with the Patriots winning.

SEAHAWKS -10.5 vs Panthers   CORRECT!

The Panthers have won 5 games in a row. However, 4 of those teams were not any good and the Cardinals were decimated by injuries and played terribly last week. The Seahawks on the other hand are well rested and eager to take on the Panthers at home with the loudest crowd in the NFL and one of the fiercest defenses. The Seahawks will show the Panthers what they really are to the world, which is a team with a losing record that has no business advancing deep into the playoffs. This will be a blowout. 

Wagering: $500

PATRIOTS -7  vs Ravens    INCORRECT

This is a playoff rematch. The Ravens have beaten the Patriots twice in Boston and lost once. However, Gronk was not available for those victories. Also the Ravens are coming into this game with only a week to recover from a tough rivalry Steelers matchup and are playing a 6th road game of their last 8 games. That will wear a team down. Meanwhile the Patriots are rested, healthy and prepared to avenge their losses and defend their home turf. This game is ripe for the picking, the Patriots will roll at home and cover the spread. 

Wagering: $600

Cowboys +7 @ PACKERS  CORRECT!

The Cowboys edged past the Lions last week with a little help from the officials. Many people are focusing on the controversial call believing that the Lions should have won that game and that since the Packers beat the Lions, then they will surely beat the Cowboys. This thinking will get you into trouble however. Don't let the past weeks game interfere with determining this weeks outcome. Aaron Rodgers is not fully healthy. Whether he will come into this game, tossing pinpoint passes and touchdown bombs, who knows, but if he is indeed hurt enough where he can't maneuver as well in the pocket and play up to his normal standards then this game will change drastically. The Cowboys meanwhile rely on a lethal rushing attack which is perfect for the low temperatures expected for this game. Additionally with the Cowboys, you can get substantial points which will come in handy if this ends up being decided by a field goal. This is the NFL locksmith pick of the week. Very confident in this one.

BRONCOS -7 vs Colts  INCORRECT

This is the toughest game to pick this week and why we are wagering the least on it. The Broncos have been seemingly hiding something about Peyton's health. He has been throwing way more INTs than normal and they have relied on their running game immensely. The other side of he coin is that their running game has been effective so it hasn't really mattered that Peyton has been struggling. The Colts looked good last week but a lot of it had to do with the Bengals having so many injuries and Andy Dalton not being able to do anything at all offensively. The Colts may keep it close and cover the spread but I wouldn't want to wager a lot on that. The Broncos should win this game and in doing so should cover but there are a lot of questions marks as well. Bottom line it's tough to bet against Peyton so that's the wiser bet but this is the toughest matchup of the 4 this weekend to strongly get behind. 

Wagering: $200

Bonus bet CORRECT!: Over 39 pts for the Seahawks-Panthers game. These teams both have good defenses and that is why the projected points is so low. But good defenses cause turnovers and good field position which leads to easy scores. I foresee the score going over for this game with Seattle easily prevailing.

Week 16

RAIDERS +6 vs Bills   CORRECT!

The Bills are traveling across the country to take on the 2 win Raiders. The Raiders destroyed the 49ers and then got destroyed by the Chiefs last week. The Bills handily beat the Packers 

Wagering: $200

Chargers +2.5 @ 49ERS  CORRECT!

The 49ers are in a blackhole right now. They're statistically eliminated from the playoffs, Harbaugh is all but officially gone and their rock Frank Gore is hurt (not to mention his backup is banged up as well). They're also coming off a tough game against Seattle, where its been a trend for teams to lose the week after playing the Seahawks. And the last straw is that this is a crucial game for the Chargers.

Wagering: $400

Lions -4.5 @ BEARS   CORRECT!

The Bears have just been horrible this year. Jay Cutler will be on the bench this week in the first year of his $127 million dollar contract and it is a justified benching. If the Lions can't beat the Bears in their current state against a backup QB and their best WR out for the year then they shouldn't expect playoff success. Lion eats Bear this week. 

Wagering: $400

Vikings +7 @ DOLPHINS   CORRECT!

Quietly the Vikings are the number 1 team in the NFL versus the spread. Surprising huh? They play just hard enough to be competitive most weeks even though they aren't particularly great team. The Dolphins meanwhile seem to be freefalling. I'll take the points in this one.

Week 15

The Week 15 GRAB THAT SPREAD

Bucs +5 @ PANTHERS   CORRECT!

As you probably know Cam Newton got into a car accident this week and will likely not play this weekend. Hopefully he heals quickly and can help the Panthers in their playoff push but in the meantime Derek Anderson will be at the helm. Now many people will look back at the week 1 matchup where he led the Panthers to a victory over the Bucs. But don't forget that the Bucs started the season off very poorly and are playing much better since then. Also they have that game to watch tape and prepare for Derek better this time. Get in on this one before the spread changes and trust me it will by Sunday. 

Wagering: $200

Bengals +1 @ BROWNS   CORRECT!

Will the Manziel era start off with a win? Possibly. But I wouldn't bet on it. Look for the Bengals to get revenge on the Browns after losing at home earlier this season. AJ Green is playing great and the Bengals defense will give Johnny Football a welcome to the NFL gift this Sunday.

Cowboys +3.5 @ EAGLES   CORRECT!

The Eagles looked great on Thanksgiving in Dallas. And then terrible last week against Seattle. (both of those outcomes we predicted correctly btw ;)) This is a critical game for both teams with heavy playoff implications and it is a prime time game so it should make for a great matchup. The Cowboys will be looking for revenge and Philly is beat up after last weeks tough game. The 3.5 points may come in handy on this game. 

Wagering: $300

Redskins +7 @ GIANTS   INCORRECT

The Giants lost to the Jaguars a few weeks back. And yes they beat the Titans handily last week but so has everyone else. Just on principle no one should bet on the Giants with this spread. The Skins have a legit chance to win outright since this is a division game and the Giants just aren't very good and the Skins defense is playing very well at times.

What a great week, 3-1! Skins got beat bad by Odell Beckham Jr., but everyone else came through including a brutal beatdown in Cleveland and easy money in Philly.

Seahawks +2.5 @ EAGLES  CORRECT!
The Eagles are coming off an impressive win over the Cowboys on Thanksgiving and the Seahawks similarly winning easily over the 49ers. However, Mark Sanchez and company will fight it a lot tougher against Richard Sherman and his friends this week. Seahawks will take this one, I am very confident on this. 

Wagering:$400

Bucs +10.5 @ LIONS   INCORRECT

The Lions played great on Thanksgiving (as we predicted!) against a lackluster Bears team. While the Bucs aren't vying for the playoffs, they have played well at times this season. The lions should win the game but look for the Bucs to cover the spread.

Jets +5 @ VIKINGS   INCORRECT

The Vikings won ugly last week. The main reason for winning was two blocked punts returned for TDs. Statistically the VIkings did worse in every category. The Jets are struggling this year but the Vikings should not be favored by this much. Take the points.

At least we wagered more on the Seahawks which we were very confident in, got an unlucky break in the Jets game where a field goal by either team in OT would've given us the win, so close. +$100 for the week
